Work Experience

Shannon has been in the practice of investigative and forensic accounting at Matson, Driscoll and Damico for over twenty years and is now the Managing Partner of the southwest region. She has worked on a variety of complex matters, both domestic and foreign, involving the evaluation of economic damages for a number of diverse industries.

Shannon’s work experience includes both insurance claims evaluations and litigation support; she has been qualified to serve as an expert witness numerous times in federal and state courts as well as arbitration hearings. These engagements included testifying in deposition and in court on matters such as lost profits, financial motive, trademark infringement, loss of earnings and other commercial disputes. Shannon has also been hired by the U.S. Department of Justice to aid as an expert witness in determination of business interruption losses.

Over the years, Shannon has presented various seminars including business interruption losses pertaining to power generation facilities and refineries, loss of production income, financial motive and various other topics related to the evaluation of economic damages.
