Work Experience

For over 20 years, Paul has been assisting claims personnel in evaluating a multitude of first and third party insurance claims.  He has applied his knowledge and technical skills as a Certified Public Accountant to provide professional and ethical advice to his clients for the purpose of achieving prompt equitable resolution of matters satisfactory to all parties.  In those few instances where the parties have been unable to reach consensus on the magnitude of the damages, Paul has offered expert testimony in reference, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.  He has also been appointed as both an appraiser and referee to assist the parties in resolving their disputes.

Providing consulting and expert litigation support services is also a major focus of his practice.  Representing both plaintiffs and defendants, Paul thoroughly vets the evidence in order to develop a factually based opinion that can withstand challenge. He has provided expert testimony in both State and Federal Courts throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New York.

Financial professionals engaged in the Special Assets division of lending institutions also rely upon Paul to assist them with matters involving their debtors.  From tracing the debtor’s use of funds under certain credit facilities to evaluating the ability of the debtor’s ability to meet its obligations, Paul has provided banking and lending institutions with forensic accounting services.
