Work ExperienceDan has been in the practice of investigative and forensic accounting at Matson, Driscoll & Damico for over 22 years. He spent his first eleven years in MD&D’s Chicago office and has managed the Los Angeles office since 1995. Dan became partner in 1998. His entire career has been spent performing analyses of financial and operating data necessary for determination and verification of losses sustained due to casualty losses and other disruptions to business. Types of engagements include business interruption, extra expenses, inventory, physical damage reconstruction projects, employee fraud and embezzlement cases, insurance fraud, financial condition analyses on arson cases, contamination projects and third-party liability disputes. Litigation support experience includes deposition testimony and expert testimony in state court. In recent years, Dan has presented training sessions (in-house and others) on accounting for commercial property losses including business interruption, stock and monitoring reconstruction projects. |
