Work Experience

Esther Young has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and obtained her Certified Management Accountant designation in 2002.

With over eight years experience in financial advisory services practice, her professional concentration has been in determining, verifying and analyzing factual matters by the examination of accounting, operating and financial records; and the interpretation and communication of these financial facts along with calculations and recommendations, all in connection with litigation support and investigative insurance loss accounting services.

In 2004 Esther moved to Kingston to manage the MD&D Eastern Ontario office. Esther has experience working on losses caused by natural disasters including losses as a result of Hurricanes Wilma and Katrina.

She has also given expert testimony in court relating to injury losses as well as taken part in numerous mediations and arbitrations.

In addition to writing articles, Esther is much sought after as a seminar leader on the subjects of business interruption and loss income claims.
