Work Experience

Scott Schellenberg has over eight years experience in financial advisory services practice and is involved in insurance loss accounting services, litigation support and investigations, and business and securities valuations. His insurance assignments include business interruption and extra expense claims, property losses, environmental liability, fraud and employee defalcations and errors and omissions claims. His assignments have encompassed a wide range of industries and involve companies across Canada and the United States.

Scott has conducted numerous investigations involving the quantification of large industrial losses, business and property losses, loss of income, fraud and employee defalcations, personal injury and wrongful death, patent infringement, breach of contract and product liability.

In 2006 Scott moved to Calgary to open and manage the MD&D Alberta office.

His litigation assignments include shareholder disputes, fraud investigations, intellectual property, breach of contract and matrimonial disputes.

Scott has conducted business valuation assignments including estate planning and income tax matters, independent valuation opinions and “fairness opinions” in related party matters, pricing analysis, auditing fair value accounting and critique preparation.

Scott has conducted seminars and workshops for insurance industry professionals.
